few more things from yesterday
I've been told Armenian MoD spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan has even more social media fan accounts:
This is Colonel Aida Serobyan. She served as a nurse in the first war in the 1990s, was wounded twice, and received the Medal of Valor. Today, at the age of 66, she still helps the soldiers.
more bodies of Azeri-recruited jihadists are returned home
Syrian SOHR organization has learned about the transfer of 25 more jihadist bodies from Azerbaijan to Syria. They entered through the Hoor Kilis border with Turkey, last night.
"In the past few hours, SOHR activists documented the death of 29 Syrian fighters in Nagorno-Karabakh battles, nearly 15 of whom have been arrived in Syria."
SOHR activists alone have counted 217 bodies so far.
terrorist attacks and riots in Europe
A group of rioters, some of whom wearing flags of a Turkish ultra-nationalist "Grey Wolves" terrorist organization, took to the streets of Vienne and Lyon in France "in search of Armenians". They chased away a small group of police.
French MP Valerie Boyer shared the video of the Turkish rioters and said "how long are we going to stay neutral, ignore the Turkish expansionism, and not apply sanctions?"
Three French residents were killed in a church in Nice, France. One was beheaded. The police described it as a terrorist attack. President Macron went to the scene.
Another radicalized individual was shot in the French city Avignon after threatening nearby people and cops with a weapon.
President Macron summoned a Security Council meeting.
Pashinyan condemned the attacks. Vladimir Putin called for unifying efforts in the fight against terrorism.

Trump should stop the flow of military equipment to AZ under Section 907, and should call for TR and RU to stop fueling the conflict, and for TR to stop sending Syrian mercenaries.

The enemy is just 5km away and their goal is to invade it. I want us to realize this moment, and to participate not just with words but with action.
I visited Shush for the first time in May 8, 1992, and kissed the cross in St. Ghazanchetsots church. Today I kissed it again and prayed for our victory. I believe we will win. I believe the following days will be a turning point.
For this, we need to unite, head over to Artsakh now, fight, and punish the enemy. We must punish them at the gates of Shushi. Let's fight together for our homeland, our future, and new generations.
The victory will be ours, rest be assured. I believe in our victory.

22:00 army spokesman Artsarun's briefing: the battles continued throughout the day but weren't very heavy.
In the south, between the Lachin-Araks front, there were battles. We were able to improve our positions. [the rumors about retaking the Qubatli-neighboring positions might be true?].
As I've said earlier, near the small villages between Martuni and Hadrut, mostly in the forests, the operations continue to find and neutralize infiltrators. Today these battles took place between Avetaranots [6km from Shushi] and Sgnagh [5km from Shushi] villages and forests.
The groups infiltrate from various areas. The fight against them requires a special type of tactic, which is different from the usual 5th generation warfare [similar to guerilla?].
Our heroic soldiers continue their fight. [introduces student Mikael Mikaelyan who volunteered to fight; the latter gives a speech].
Q: Ilham Aliyev promised that Karabakh will be a beautiful and one of the most developed parts of Azerbaijan if Armenian troops pull out.
A: Aliyev should first worry about Azeri citizens living in poverty outside of downtown Baku.
Q: Artsakh president Arayik said Azeri soldiers are 5km away from Shushi. Can you give details?
A: I've already mentioned [about infiltrators]. The battles are near Avetaranots and Sgnagh villages, about 7km from Shushi.
I'd like to comment on today's speech by president Arayik made from Shushi. It was essentially a calls to take up arms. It's normal. Political figures can make such speeches every day.
The intensity of battles isn't as heavy anymore. Enemy's main attack potential is broken, but smaller infiltrator groups will try to make such attempts, especially in these forest areas.
These infiltrator attempts can happen in several locations, but since this particular one is towards Shushi, there is more emphasis on it.
Follow us on social media. Be confident. The battles are long and heavy, but we will win.
MFA briefing: The difference between a state and a terrorist state is whether they follow international law during the battles. Azerbaijan has been burning and destroying settlements invaded by them to prevent the return of the native population, in addition to war crimes against civilians and kids living far away from the front lines.
