NSS chief Arthur Vanetsyan says they are are currently examining financial transactions worth 250bln ($515mln). Around 20bln ($41mln) in damages were found from 30 examinations after receiving evidence of wrongdoing. Says they've discovered pyramid-style corruption in various ministries, which is a danger to the country. No specific cases, these are stats.
Prosecutors in Lori have discovered that some doctors and officials had falsified medical documents to make it appear as if patients went through certain medical procedures which weren't provided in reality, with the intention of receiving more government subsidized funds. (Similar crime at a massive scale brought down St. Gregory Illuminator director earlier)
In Stepanavan Medical Center, the director signed a contract with a company belonging to his friend, which never delivered the products while still receiving the funds from the government. The director placed his stamp and the signature to confirm the items as delivered. The (now former) director is facing two criminal charges. He has returned the stolen funds.
In Tashir Medical Center, a doctor falsified medical examination records of a patient and wrote that he has a disability. It was later discovered that the patient never attended the medical center. Criminal charges were filed.
The (now former) director of the same Tashir medical center, and two other staff members, are facing charges for falsifying medical care records to receive and steal subsidy funds. They have also agreed to return the stolen funds. The prosecutors decided to drop the harsher felony charges.
SPAYKA import-export giant (linked to Serzh Sargsyan) receives a permission to import agricultural technology without paying taxes, as part of 28bln investment plan, which will create 1900 jobs with avg 195k salary.
A clothing manufacturer, and an aluminum items production company, receive a tax waiver to make a 1.1bln investment to create 53 jobs with avg 280k salary. They'll be producing 20.1bln worth products annually.
Government cabinet votes to ease the legal work and to subsidy 8.2mln in taxes and fees for a charity organization "Hovard Karagyozyan", which provides free dental services to 90,000 children in 20 various locations annually.
Government approves a plan to issue free health care services and insurance to 15,000 healthcare industry employees.
IRS warns parking lot operators to begin paying taxes. Will begin penalizing minimum 200k for a failure to disclose the business income.
IRS also warns businesses that modified claw crane toy vending machines (put a coin and try to lift a toy with a cable) to not place other unlicensed items like cigarettes in them. Businesses do that to attract adults.

Tigran Avinyan's office denies the media reports that Russian colleagues sent him a letter notifying that gas prices at the border will go from $150 to $215 beginning January 1st. (The gas price in Russia and neighboring allies is lower. Armenia pays pipeline transfer fees to Georgia, which contributes to higher prices. The Iranian gas is currently more expensive than the Russian, even through a direct transfer.)
During the annual tele-Q&A session, Putin answered a question by a journalist who asked about "how Russia plans to restore the relations with Armenia".
Putin answered "nothing needs restoration because nothing was damaged in the relations". He said Armenia is the closest Russian ally in the region, and he will meet with Nikolai Pashinyan again, next week, to discuss various topics.

Aluminum manufacturer Armenal, the subsidiary of Russian Rusal, will benefit from the US administration's decision to end the sanctions against Rusal. As a result of the sanctions, Armenal had paid 300mln less in taxes on 2018H1.
Qanaqer aluminum factory was sold to Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska on 2000, and subsequently renamed to Armenal. The US had earlier placed Deripaska under sanctions, which continues till this day. The sanctions against Rusal were lifted after Deripaska agreed to cut his ownership share in the company below 50%, and end his control. The company will be monitored for compliance.
