Pashinyan has indirectly warned the previous regime's allies in Artsakh Republic that a similar revolution could happen there if they try to bring back the old regime.
Context: Few days ago the 2 presidents of Artsakh wrote a letter urging Armenia's prosecutors to release Robert Kocharyan until his trial. Rumors begun circulating that "anti-revolution" is brewing in Artsakh. The current leadership of Artsakh has largely remained unchanged and is believed to be allied with the former regime of Armenia. (Update: Artsakh president's spokesman later said there is an unwritten rule that both Republics don't interfere in their internal politics.)
Pashinyan went to work with a bicycle and realized that the he is too fat and needs to lose weight, and that the roads aren't good for cyclists. Said they'll do more work to make the city bike-friendly.
Yerevan mayor says they already have plans to enlarge some (ex: Pushkin street) of the sidewalks in Center district to remove some parking areas and add bicycle lanes and more space for pedestrians. The Center district manager said that for the past 20 years, the changes were all done to benefit the car traffic. Now, they will prioritize the pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, in the Center district.
The mayor has been using his bicycle to go to work for the past week.
Pashinyan, mayor and donor Vardanyan family then participated in the opening ceremony of the new park dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of the capital Yerevan.

Yerevan mayor Marutyan says repairing all residential apartment complex elevators will cost dozens of millions of dollars. The elevators belong to the residents. To make quick and mass-repairs possible, the city plans to create a plan in a few months, according to which the elevators will be repaired now, then the residential buildings will be charged small fees throughout years as a compensation.
(It is currently an established practice for large apartment residents to pay for elevator fees. It is yet unknown if or by how much these fees would increase to compensate for new repairs.)
In 2015, the authorities claimed there was a murder attempt against Syunik governor Surik "Liska" Khachatryan. 3 men were arrested as suspects. We'll call them 1st defendant, 2nd defendant, and Ara Budaghyan.
Few weeks ago, during the trials, 1st defendant made a bombshell allegation saying that he and governor Surik faked the assassination plot to blame Budaghyan and his brother. Goris city's police chief also claimed it was all faked.
The defendant's story: May-20-2015 allegedly unknown people opened gunfire on governor Surik's car. No one was hurt, but the bullets hit the car including the windshield. 3 people, including the 1st defendant whose story we are reading, 2nd defendant, and a man named Ara Budaghyan were arrested. Ara Budaghyan was later released.
The 1st defendant says the governor and the 2nd defendant met each other and organized to fake an assassination plot. The purpose was allegedly to solve two problems: First, use the story to "promote" the 2nd defendant as a village mayor and solve some village issues for him, second was to allow the governor to frame his enemies, Budaghyan brothers and few others, with the assassination attempt.
An investigator and the governor later visited the 1st defendant while he was already detained after the incident. The investigator gave a private time for the governor and the 1st defendant. The governor then allegedly tried to convince the 1st defendant to claim that Qajaran copper factory's director was also part of the people who organized the fake assassination. Governor's goal was to frame the factory CEO and Budaghyan as the masterminds, and the 1st defendants as the executioner.
The 1st defendant refused to do it. The governor then allegedly told him that the story had already received a "green light" from Serj Sargsyan. 1st defendant was threatened with lifetime imprisonment and torture for non-compliance. 1st defendant still refused to give the false testimony.
During the initial investigation of the shooting, the Goris police chief wrote a report that the shooting was staged based on the evidence. For some reason, the court and other investigators ignored this piece during their investigations.
1st defendant came forward with the story only now because he says he was afraid under the previous regime. Masked people had earlier attacked his grocery story. It was later revealed that the governor's aide was the perpetrator. Other threats were also made against him, says the 1st defendant.
Governor Surik Khachatryan was not questioned in court because he is not in Armenia (LOL u no say?).
The prosecutors are now investigating these allegations.
You can read that story here: http://www.armtimes.com/hy/article/158391
Surik Khachatryan is that former governor whose son was recently charged with avoiding the army by falsifying documents. His name is associated with various alleged crimes dating back to Armenia's independence, and abuse of women. https://youtu.be/c-Rrkmms5p4?t=26 --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egT_nrt_C-o
LHK MP is pressuring the General Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan to look into the murders of high ranking prosecutors that happened in past. The latter says the murder case of the general prosecutor in 1998 is considered closed, while the murder of another prosecutor in 2007 is still open and work is being done.
The preliminary investigation of April-2018 hooliganism events is over. The case involves the mayor of Masis, his brother, total of 11 defendants. 16 people and a district property suffered from the defendant's alleged actions.
The masked defendants are accused of assaulting anti-Serj protesters during the April revolution. Masis mayor himself is facing 2 felony charges. According to one of the charges, he prevented regional protesters from driving to Yerevan to join the rest of the protests. They used bats to beat people, even used a gun to shoot towards the protestors with the intention of scaring them away, says the report.
Green Food has received a tax waiver by the government to invest 2.9bln more and create 94 jobs with avg 110k salary. They'll import products to build agricultural greenhouses in Shirak. Annual production to be 1.9bln, 90% of which will be exported to EAEU, and some to other states.
Newplast has also received a tax waiver to invest 245mln, 25 new jobs, 200k avg salary. They'll create 2bln worth drip irrigation systems for Armenian farmers. It saves water during irrigation.
ARF activists are protesting on front of the Parliament building, demanding QP to cancel the plans to establish flat tax rate. The proposed changes will remove the tax brackets and establish 23% (later 20%) flat tax. This will help workers earning 150k ($311) or above. Activists say it'll hurt the low income people. The government and pro-flat side say the new laws are necessary to boost the economy, fight grey economy and the practice of under-declaring salaries to avoid taxes.
The government wants to revamp the property address/location system. When an information changes in one government department, the new unified system will allow the change to reflect the address change elsewhere. Google/Yandex maps could become more accurate for finding locations. The proposal is in the early stages.
NSS wasn't happy about this. Chief Vanetsyan said there is a problem with collecting sensitive data all in one database then trying to secure it. Pashinyan asked various agencies to discuss the plan more for the next few weeks.
French president Macron sent a letter to president Sarkissian, reaffirming France's friendship to Armenia. He was recently criticized by Turkey for declaring April 24th as Armenian Genocide remembrance day.
