Parts from Pashinyan's speech dedicated to March 1st remembrance day:

Dear citizens of Armenia, Artsakh and diasporans. 11 years ago blood was shed. The government applied illegal force towards peaceful protesters, which ended with 10 deaths.

5 people were shot with a firearm

, 3 were killed by Cheryomukha-7 [which was illegally shot directly at people], 1 death from a shrapnel, 1 death from being bludgeoned by an object.

The actions of the government weren't against a specific individual, the target were all citizens of Armenia and their Constitutional rights.

The cause of the peaceful gathering that begun on the morning of March 1st was a result of years-long abuse of power, election riggings, assassinations and unlawfulness. These flaws had unfortunately begun immediately after Armenia's independence from USSR, when everyone was thinking that democracy finally won.

Some people worry that Armenia could fall in the same situation after the 2018 democratic revolution and the history could repeat itself. I declare that there can be no return to the old ways.

As the head of the government, from the name of the government, I apologize to all victims who suffered from March 1st events, political persecutions, political assassinations, since the independence of Armenia. I also apologize for vote riggings, corruption schemes by government higher-ups. We close the era of solving problems with violence.

This, unfortunately, doesn't mean that all corruption and violations are gone today. The citizens should know that today the Prime Minister isn't the peddler of the corruption, but someone who opposes it. The government and the people are united in fighting against a corruption by high ranking officials, and we will win.

I invite you to join a march to commemorate the victims of March 1st events, victims of all political assassinations and corruption victims.

Long live the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Artsakh, and its citizens who will live in a prosperous and happy Armenia.

The director says the founders are trying to get him fired for opposing the corruption scheme.

The Special Investigation Service (SIS) is investigating the case.

One such hearing on last December resulted in re-calculation of how commercial businesses pay for garbage cleanup. The fees for them are calculated based on the size of the building. Some large building owners have complained about higher fees.

Karabakh wasn't the only region whom the Azeri government pissed off.

On 1990s, Talysh region

located on the south of Azerbaijan, was trying to gain independence. It's populated by ethnic Talysh people who are close to Iranians.

Talysh have long complained about mistreatment and political persecutions. Their movement leader Fahraddin Aboszoda flew to Russia to seek safety years earlier. Today, the Russian court ruled to deport him back to Azerbaijan due to his visa expiration, where he faces charges related to calls against the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Azeri regime will also examine his rumored visit to Armenia and the alleged meeting with Armenian special services (no one saw this coming ara davay dasvidanya e).
