Rediscovering Armenia Guidebook- Nakhichevan
From Armeniapedia.org
Nakhichevan has many historic Armenian sites, though unfortunately, the most impressive of all, the cemetery in old Jugha was recently completely demolished by the Azerbaijani government. It contained the largest collection of khachkars in the world, and some of the most advanced and ornate examples in existence. This destruction was on par with the loss of the massive buddhas in Afghanistan, with none of the international coverage.
