Areg Azatyan
Areg Azatyan was born in November 25 1986, in Yerevan, Armenia.
In 1992, he played a part in “Radio-Yerevan”, an Armenian-Dutch film directed by Narine Mkrtchian and Arsen Azatian.
He attended Hagob Kogoyan School of Fine Arts, painting section, and “Spartak” sports school, tennis section. In 2000 “Kanch”, “Aghbyur”, “Lusapsak” as well as the most prestigious literary magazine, “Garoun”, started publishing his stories. In 2000 got a Grand Prize named Ruben Sevak for stories from Union of Writers of Armenia.
In 2003 a collection of his stories titled “LIFE BEYOND THE SUN’’ APPOLON Publishing House published in Armenian Areg’s first book, with his own illustrations and in 2005 second book a collection of short stories titled “THE TRIAL OF THE MAN”. 2005 he got a Armenia President’s Prize for Literature.
2006 APPOLON Publishing House published in Armenian Areg’s third book “ Holding on to Ladybag’s lag” Now he is a student of Faculty Film Directing of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema.
