Turks to Ask Allies to Let Them Extradite Enver Pasha
SUNDAY, JULY 20, 1919
PARIS, July 15. -- The newspapers of Constantinople assert that the Turkish Government has decided to ask the Entente to permit the extradition of Tallat Bet, Enver Pasha and Djemal Bey, leaders in the Turkish Government during the War.
According to a dispatch under date of Saturday received by the Havas Agency, Talaat Bey, Enver Pasha and Djemal Bey were condemned to death of July 11, in default of their appearance, by Turkish court-martial which has been investigating the conduct of the Turkish Government during the period of the War. The three men are now in Germany.
