The Armenian Community in South America is no doubt centered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the biggest population, followed by Sao Paulo in Brazil. The smaller but important community in Uruguay saw the passage of the first national Armenian Genocide bill in the world in 1965. There is a small and pretty assimilated community in Venezuela, and Chile has a handful of Armenians as well.
