The official debut single of HAYQ entitled "Qami Pchi" was released in early 2006. Written by former member Hayk Harutyunyan and produced, arranged, mixed and recorded by Canadian-Armenian H.A. Der Hova, it's musical style is a mix of hip hop, pop and Armenian melodies all sung in Armenian.
On December 14 2006, the song won the Hit of the Year award at the annual Armenian National Music Awards.
