Rare species. A number of populations died due to reservoir, huge channel, and road construction.

Habitat in Armenia

Met in the floristic regions of Lori, Ijevan, Zangezur, and Meghri.

Habitat and ecology

Grows in the forests, along the rivers, in humid places, on the height of 1500 meters above sea level.

Biology and potential value

Decorative and poisonous plant. Used in medicine.

Measures of protection

Should be protected from mechanical destruction.
