We mourn the untimely passing away of Hermine (Nalbandian) Sakadjian and convey our heartfelt condolences to her husband Arakel Sakadjian and their son Bartev and their daughter Arpi Roach, as well as her mother Elise (Vorperian) Nalbandian. May her soul rest in peace.

Hermig was a renowned pharmacist in Addis Ababa and was a talented musician in her own right. Together with the rest of her family, she kept the Armenian church choir going - with her singing and playing the organ.

Her father, Maestro Nerses Nalbandian, led the Armenian Church choir. She used to rehearse on a regular basis over a number of months at her home with friends, and later would perform at the Ararat Club before very well-attended audiences.
