EAGER TO FIGHT TURKS
Albanians and Armenians in Italy Want to Go to Balkans
OCTOBER 21, 1915
Special Cable to THE NEW YORK TIMES. ROME, Oct. 20.--All Albanian living in Italy, numbering about 200,000 descendants of those Albanians who left their country at the time of Scanderberg declare themselves ready to contribute a contingent to fight on the side of the Allies in the Balkan expedition.
Not because they have any special sympathy for Serbia, but they wish to again face the eternal enemy of their race, Turkey, and frustrate the Bulgarian plan to stretch across the Balkans form the Black Sea to the Adriatic.
All Armenians residing in Italy also support enthusiastically any undertaking against Turkey.
