We are saddened to report the passing away of Khatchig (Chris) Dorian (formerly Khatchig Khatchadourian) at the age of 70. He had been unwell for some time and he passed away peacefuly early this morning.
Khatchig was born in Ethiopia and completed his studies at the American Academy in Cyprus. He worked for a long number of years with his uncle, the late Krikor Sevadjian until he and his family came to the US in the mid-1970s. He was a wonderful raconteur that left his audience spellbound with his repetoire of anecdotes. He was always kind, straight-forward and approachable. He lost his younger brother Norris in July 2007.
We extend our sympathy and condolences to his wife Dora, his children, as well as his grandchildren, his brother Captain Assefa Sarkis and his family in Addis Ababa, his sister-in-law Ingrid and her family in Germany, as well as the Sevadjian and Minassian families in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
