Raffi, your comments about Ara Manoogian are very interesting.... Does anyone know all the things he did in the US before moving to Armenia? Signed Fiona 05/11/07

:Hi Fiona - I prefer to keep all Ara related materials on the Ara Manoogian page at this time - I may be adding a bit about that to his page soon.  Best, --Raffi 02:43, 12 May 2007 (PDT)

Dear Raffi, ARMENIAPEDIA is your great idea implemented into life. Please calm the tension between Ara and you - it harms the reputation of the big project.

Reagards,

:Hi Arsen, I appreciate your sentiments, but since I had no way to defend my own reputation on Ara's site where he was maligning it, I ended up creating a page about him on this one.  As I've said on the Ara Manoogian page a number of times, I'll be happy to take down the page if he takes down the posts he wrote about me.  Short of that, this is where we are...  --Raffi 09:09, 4 June 2007 (PDT)

"Would you mind actually improving the duduk article, which you are free to edit, rather than spend your time complaining about it? Thank you. --Raffi 03:07, 2 July 2007 (PDT)"

I was not complaining about the article, but about duduk.com's use of this information source about the duduk as profit-making venture.  I spend my time in the manner I choose, and do not appreciate your derogatory tone.

Are you sure Stalin shouldn't be included?  We should at least consider his assigning Karabakh to Azerbaijan. -- Aivazovsky 08:43, 23 July 2007 (PDT)

:I also added a new section called "individuals circumventing the word 'genocide'." -- Aivazovsky 09:44, 23 July 2007 (PDT)

For what it's worth, I agree. Stalin should be there, if for nothing else, for his assigning of BOTH Artsakh and Nachijevan to Azerbaijan AND for the draining of Sevan for his own interests. Not to mention countless other reasons... (just my 2 cents) Hovik 19:21, 23 July 2007 (PDT)

:Definitely should be in there.  I haven't spent quality time on the list yet, but there are many to be added.  I like the idea of the new section, but it would be nice to come up with a briefer title.  --Raffi 00:25, 24 July 2007 (PDT)I'll think about it.

Sites allowing Armeniapedia use of materials

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

 1. Can I use material from Armeniapedia.org? -you can use it for your own private personal use and your classroom without asking permission. For use in publications and other websites - my policy is ASK ME FIRST! I usually say ok to requests to any use these materials with proper attribution, but not always. Same goes for photographs.
 2. Can I use material from Armeniapedia.org on Wikipedia.org? - again, you must ask, and again usually I am fine with it.
 3. Can I add material from Wikipedia onto Armeniapedia? -anytime, that is their policy, but please add the wikipedia tag to the bottom of the page to make sure the page complies with fair useage and gives proper credit.
 4. Can I add a page about myself? -sure, and any other Armenian or person place or thing related to Armenians!
 5. What if I want to add something, but maintain my copyright? -that is fine, just add it in a seperate section (or page) with the appropriate disclaimer and state that it should not be edited - though this type of material might eventually migrate to a sub page.
 6. How do I reach you? -I check this page often, so it is an ideal way to reach me. Also see Armeniapedia.org contact page
 7. Who are you? -see the Raffi Kojian article
