Sasuntsi Davit Statue

The statue of Sasuntsi Tavit (David of Sasun) on horseback is located at the Sasuntsi Davit Metro station on Tigran Mets Street. He was a mythological figure, famous thanks to an epic about him named after him. According to the story, he would lose all his strength when he left Armenian soil.
