To commemorate the 150th anniversary of his birth, the Republic of Armenia issued this 90 Dram postage stamp on March 26, 1997

Ջիվանի

Jivani (Serob Levonian) 1846-1909, Armenian ashug and folk singer. During 1868-1895 he lived in Alexandropol, surrounded by other famous ashugs. The "Sokhak Hayastani" song-book has printed his songs until 1880. His songs were written by Komitas, M. Ekmalian and others.
