Hugo served as president of the American Society of Civil Engineers
 
in 1971 and as director of the Consulting Engineers Association of
 
California. His awards include Outstanding Civil Engineering Project
 
and Principal in Change in 2001 from the American Society of Civil
 
Engineers, Fresno Chapter.
 
 
 
Now semi-retired, Hugo focuses his efforts on the BSK & Associates
 
forensic work. While growing up in Fresno, Hugo enjoyed playing and
 
coaching soccer until 1996. He was one of the founders of the
 
Homenetmen Fresno Sasson Chapter, an Armenian youth group that
 
celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2003. He is a current Fresno State
 
Alumni Association member and is also an accomplished photographer
 
and enjoys Bonsai gardening.
 
 
 
Hugo and his wife, Margaret, have two daughters, Lisa and Laura, a son-in-law, Mark Pomaville and a grandson, Eric.

Hugo Kevorkian

Outstanding Alumnus - College of Engineering

Hugo Kevorkian was born in France. He attended College Superieur de Ste. Ehienne in 1952 and immigrated to the United States in 1954. Hugo graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Fresno State in 1961 and later returned to Fresno State in 1973 as adjunct faculty in the Department of Civil and Geomatics Engineering and Construction Management.
