French Square.

Where Sayat Nova Street and Mashtots Street meet is one of Yerevan's biggest and busiest intersections. It is located between Cascade and the Opera building.

The square was renamed French Square in honor of friendly relations between Armenia and France. Its opening took place on September 30, 2006, in the presence of both presidents, Armenian president Robert Kocharyan and French president Jacques Chirac.
