David of Sasun (Սասունցի Դավիթ, E. Arm: Sasuntsi Davit, W. Arm: Sasuntsi Tavit) was an epic Armenian folk hero. There is a statue to him in Yerevan by Yervand Kochar, as well as one in Fresno by Varaz Samuelian, and a metro station named after him in Yerevan.
