STATUS: PERMANENTLY CLOSED
Chez Garos was once a Western Armenian hole in the wall restaurant on Pushkin Street which closed in late 2006/early 2007.
Once located right by Mashtots Street, there was no sign, but the steps leading down are well known by most Western Armenians in Yerevan. The food was some of the best Western Armenian available, with the Manti not to be missed. Proprietor chef, Garo, born and raised in Istanbul, then moved to France, then Armenia, was always there, and often with a glass of wine...
