Artashes Minasian (21 January, 1967) is an Armenian International Grandmaster of chess.

Last Soviet Union chess champion (1991). Participant of eight Chess Olympiads. He was one of the contributing players (board 6) on the Armenian chess team which won gold at the 2006 Chess Olympiad (Turin) ahead of second placed China and third placed United States. Minasian won the Armenian Chess Championship six times (1990, 1992, 1993, 1995, 2004, 2006).
