Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Awarded Cilician Knight Order

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ January 9 a reception was organized at the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon on the occasion of completion of the diplomatic mission of Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Areg Hovhannisyan, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Lebanese Government members, MP, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, Armenian community religious leaders, NGO representatives, businessmen were present at the event. In his speech A. Hovhannisyan spoke about the past 4 years of his office at the Armenian Embassy. He presented the cooperation prospects. The Armenian diplomat supported Lebanese authorities and people in strengthening democracy and state sovereignty. He thanked political and public circles of the hospitable country. Mr. Hovhannisyan hoped for Lebanon to restore stability soon. The Ambassador specially thanked Armenian community members and organizations for support to establishment of Armenia-Lebanese relations. On behalf of Aram I, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Kingdom, head of the Armenian Diocese in Lebanon Gegham Khacheryan awarded A. Hovhannisyan with Cilician Knight orders. A. Hovhannisyan had been awarded Grand Officer order by the Lebanese President and St. Vardan order on behalf of the Armenian Diocese of Lebanon.
