Adriene was born on November 4th 1915 in [[Constantinople]]. Daughter of Varasdad and Takouhi Koumjian, her family moved to [[Addis Ababa]] in 1922. She spent her childhood in [[Ethiopia]] attending the local Armenian School and later attending The Catholic Sister’s School where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She later returned to the same Armenian School to teach. In 1937, she met and married Zakaria Bilemdjian. They had their 1st child a boy one year latter. Ohannes was soon followed by his brother Vartkes and their baby sister Aida. Adrienne spent the next years raising their children to later return helping her husband at their shoe store. She was blessed with her first grandson Zachariah in 1970 and her first granddaughter Adriene in 1971. She immigrated to the United States in 1975 first residing in [[Fresno]] and later in [[Burbank]] where she was joined by her husband a year later. Her family further grew when was again blessed with her second granddaughter Diana in 1976 and her second grandson Michael in 1978. Additionally she had the unique blessing of having two great-grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Greyson. Adriene Bilemdjian made her transition on August 23rd, 2012 in Burbank California. Services were held on August 30th, 2012 at noon at Forest Lawn Hills Old North Church (the red church) 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles Ca 90068.
