A similar subsidy program is planned for small land farmers. The program is expected to create 100 hectares of new high-yield agricultural gardens every year. 2% interest or 0% for bordering regions. Farmers will have 8 years to repay the loan.

The government will also subsidize 40% of the costs associated with purchasing the basic necessary items to create the agricultural gardens.

Daily fake news alert

"Past" media outlet published anonymous rumors alleging that Cleaners Inc., the company that's tasked with cleaning Parliament building, got the job because QP MP Alen Simonyan is friends with THE CEO and he helped the latter.

Simonyan called it the latest misinformation campaign for clickbait. The paper has agreed to retract the inaccurate story, says Simonyan.

(The Parliament recently told Cleaners Inc. that it plans to cut the funds given to Cleaners because some of their havaqarars were working part time but earning same as full time workers)

Roboserj media outlet ArmDaily.am continues the smear campaign against the Pashinyan administration, specifically against Parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan. The outlet considers the $160/night or $116/daytime expenditures (as designated by law) during a trip to Germany too "excessive", and criticized the fact that Mirzoyan didn't fly there by himself and instead took several of his assistants with him. The outlet also lied and exaggerated the number of assistants that flew with him, reports FIP.

(During the Germany trip, Mirzoyan discussed the EU-AM trade agreement ratification, pitched various investment possibilities for the Germans, and spoke about the need for German kids to learn about the Armenian Genocide in schools.)

Orbelyan is considering a legal action to challenge his termination.

A German city gave 2800 fir trees (yeghevni) to Yerevan on its 2800th anniversary. They are currently planted in a special facility, and will soon be transferred to various public parts of the city.

Edit: Corrected Opera theater director's name. Konstantin Orbelyan.
